Project Overview

Companies get hundreds of applications per role, and most CVs look the same on paper - so recruiters filter people out, not because they lack skill, but because a résumé couldn't prove it. Vettern flips that: candidates build a profile, verify their skills, and complete real assessments before they ever speak to a recruiter. Companies then browse people who've already demonstrated their ability, not just listed it.

Vettern vs Job Boards

A job board asks "who wants this job?" Vettern asks "who can actually do this job?" That's a different product, solving a different problem, at a different moment in someone's career.

Job boards

Put candidates and companies in the same place, then leave the company to sort through a pile of CVs.

Vettern

Runs every candidate through a structured five-stage pipeline first, so companies start from evidence instead of guesswork.

The 5-Stage Vetting Pipeline

Instead of one generic coding test, candidates climb five stages - each harder to fake than the last. The standout is Stage 3, the Project Deep Dive: AI-generated questions pulled from the candidate's own submitted projects, not a question bank. "Why Django over Flask here?" is a lot harder to bluff than a multiple-choice quiz.

The Business Model

Free for students, always. Companies pay 10% of the intern's monthly stipend, off-platform, only once they take someone on.
